Over the past few years, Everett has enjoyed an influx of great new Asian cuisine. Here are a few of our current favorites.

Terracotta Red

 (Pan Asian, Chinese)

Website

Terracotta Red is not your typical Chinese restaurant. Although you'll find dishes bearing names like Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken, the fresh ingredients and creative approach set this restaurant apart. Terracotta's chef, Jimmy Liang, is classically trained and has worked with many prestigious restaurants, including the Herb Farm. If you're craving Chinese but don't want to feel terrible about it, this is the place for you.

Thai Gusto

(Thai)

2011 Hewitt Ave.

(425) 943-9589

Website

Thai cooking is an art form. The taste of each dish is of utmost importance. However, its preparation and presentation are of equal importance. The dishes must have the distinctive Thai taste. At the same time, they must be fragrant and colorful. When thinking about Thai food, the first thing that may come to mind is that Thai food is spicy hot, but that is not all it is about. Thai dishes must have the combined tastes of spicy hot, salt, sweetness, sourness, and sometime bitterness, creating a unique truly harmonious taste. The secret is in the ingredients. We recommend going with a friend so you can try more than one dish, and you'll probably still have something to take home!

Yummy Banh Mi

(Vietnamese)

1606 Hewitt Ave.

(425) 259-2876

Website

If you haven't tried Yummy Banh Mi sandwiches, you aren't living your best life (just our humble opinion). With a new, larger location on Colby Ave., you can sit and enjoy your meal with friends and top it off with one of their to die for bubble tea smoothies. Might we suggest the Lychee?
