Pumpkin patches & corn mazes
Remember to pack your mask and call ahead or visit the business' website to check updated hours. Be patient, be kind, stay healthy.
One of the best parts about fall is strapping on a pair of rain boots and stomping through a muddy corn field to find the perfect pumpkin for your jack-o-lantern needs. While Everett doesn’t have any farms within city limits that can help with your quest, there’s a bunch of them skipping distance away.
Here are some local farms where you can get your pumpkin, hayride, and hot apple cider to boot.
Carleton Farms
4 miles from downtown Everett (Lake Stevens)
Website
Located right across the Highway 2 trestle, this farm has it all: a barn that sells produce and local honey, a zip line, a pumpkin cannon, a kids petting zoo, and yes—fields full of pumpkins. Their small cafe serves up hot food and beverages. Play it right and this could be a full afternoon of autumnal fun.
Craven Farms
13 miles from downtown Everett (Snohomish)
Website
Snohomish is a river valley that yields beautiful produce year-round. What this means in the fall is giant fields full of pumpkins and all manner of bizarre gourds. Craven Farms is a great place to take a group of friends. Be sure to bring your rubber boots, because things can get muddy. But hey, that’s part of the fun.
Thomas Family Farm
9.1 miles from downtown Everett (Snohomish)
Website
Thomas Family Farm has all the goodies: monster truck rides, a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and pro-kart rides. Seasonal night-time activities are of particular interest: Zombie Paintball, haunted house, flashlight corn maze & private fire pits. If you like shooting zombies with paintball guns this place is your jam.
Stocker Farms
9.7 miles from downtown Everett (Snohomish)
Your options here include a haunted maze or a regular corn maze. Ghouls or no? Your choice. Or, if you just want to buy a hot apple cider and pick up a jack-o-lantern and split, that’s cool, too.
Swan’s Trail
6.6 miles from downtown Everett (Snohomish)
In addition to the usual autumn fare—pumpkins, corn maze—Swan’s Trail has a petting farm, wagon rides, a u-pick apple orchard, live duck races, and a live performance for the kiddos called Farmer Ben's Famous Four Little Pigs Show.
Bob’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm
13.68 miles from downtown Everett (Snohomish)
You won’t want to miss an a-maize-ing experience of walking through the corn fields, looking for an exit. When (if?) you escape, be sure to get a pumpkin on your way out.
