Whether you want to sit down for a hearty, healthy meal or grab something casual to go, Downtown Everett has plenty of places to eat that will satisfy without the guilt.
K Fresh
1105 Hewitt Ave.
(425) 212-9863
Website
Newer to the Everett food scene, it doesn't get much fresher than K Fresh; serving up delicious options for anyone looking for healthy, comforting fare. Build your own bibimbap with your favorite protein, veggies and sauce and get it served in a hot stone bowl keep it sizzling until the last bite.
The best part? They are vegetarian/vegan, gluten free and keto-friendly so you can refuel your soul with fresh, quality ingredients you can trust; regardless of your dietary needs.
Valley Organic Deli
2805 Colby Ave.
(425) 512-8577
Website
If your favorite words are sprouts, whole wheat, or kale, then Valley Organic Deli is right up your alley. Their smoothie game is strong, and Valley Organic has a roll-up door and a small patio looking out over Colby Avenue, both of which make for a pleasant dining al fresco experience when the weather permits.
At Valley, you can order anything to go off of their online menu, and it will be ready to pick up at the front counter when you walk through the door.
Local tip: The half sandwich and salad is a great deal at just $8.50. The maple balsamic is heavenly.
Sno-Isle Food Co-Op
2804 Grand Ave.
(425) 259-3798
Website
It’s an awesome grocery store, but the Co-op’s deli is maybe the best place in town for a health-conscious diner to grab something to eat. The Co-op offers sandwiches and smoothies, soup and small prepackaged containers of deli items like chickpea salads, beet slaw, veggie "meat" loaf sandwiches and Asian noodle salads. Pair with a coffee or kombucha and you have a delicious and healthy meal.
The Sisters Restaurant
2804 Grand Ave.
(425) 252-0480
Website
The lunch line for this beloved restaurant often winds out the door, but The Sisters Restaurant welcome phone-ahead orders. The sit-down experience is worth the wait (both for breakfast and lunch). The Sisters serves up salmon burgers, fresh green salads and different daily soups such as curried black-eyed peas or minestrone with chard. You’ll want to finish off your meal with a slice of homemade pie. Trust us.
Cafe Wylde
2918 Hoyt Ave.
(425) 374-3877
Website
Another local organic deli, Cafe Wylde is all vegan and specializes in goodies like hearty quinoa bowls loaded full of healthy bits like avocados, seaweed and homemade tahini dressing. Cafe Wylde offers smoothies filled with fresh flavors like passion fruit, dates and cardamom, making this place the gourmand’s smoothie destination.
Local tip: The Cafe may be closed in the afternoons between lunch and dinner rushes. These afternoon closures are not always indicated online, so call ahead.
