Fourth of July Festival 2023
Fireworks, Live music, food and family fun
Come celebrate Everett’s July Fourth at Legion Memorial Park and enjoy live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and fun for the whole family. The festival starts at 3 p.m. and ends after the fireworks (about 10:30 p.m.).
Here's everything you need to know:
First things first: There's NO PARKING at Legion Memorial Park on the Fourth of July. Everett Transit provides free shuttle service to and from Legion Memorial Park. Uber, Lyft, and biking are other ways to get to the park to enjoy the celebrations.
Check out our getting here page for more info about the shuttle and other details.

Fun for kids
Kids in tow? There’s fun for them, too. Imagine Children’s Museum will be at the festival with fun kid-friendly activities. Legion Memorial Park also has a great playground and ball fields. Have a lawn game the kids love? Bring it! Just don’t ruin anyone’s picnic with a stray frisbee, okay?
The city's annual Thunder on the Bay fireworks show is the largest in Snohomish County. Enjoy a stunning 20-minute display over Port Gardner to cap off a memorable Independence Day. The show starts at around 10:30 and there's no better place to watch than from Legion Park.
Q: Is it free to attend?
A: Yes! The event is free to attend.
Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Yes; they must be on a leash per Everett Park rules. If you're taking your puppers on the shuttle, they need to wear a muzzle unless they're a service animal. For those with pooches that are afraid of fireworks, the fireworks start at 10ish.
Q: Can I bring chairs or sun shades to the park?
A: Yes. Be courteous of those behind you so you don't block their view of the fireworks.
Q: Can I bring my giant propane barbecue on the shuttle bus?
A: Um, no. Thanks for asking, though!
Q: Will there be drinking water?
A: Yes. We have a fountain for filling up water bottles.
Q: Is there shade at Legion Memorial Park?
A: Some. You should definitely bring sunscreen.
