Got your coffee? Perfect. Time to start exploring. If you're looking for a more low-key outdoor experience, Everett has plenty of walking trails that are beautiful during the spring and summer seasons.
Langus Riverfront Park, with three miles of paved trail winding around the Snohomish River, is darn near perfect, especially on a foggy morning. You can also explore Everett's historic downtown and check out the fantastic results of artists’ creative spirit on display.
HIKING
Hiking is our proverbial pastime here in the PNW. After you've conquered our urban trails, check out our guide to hikes in our neck of the woods. If you’re up for exploring the beautiful forests of the PNW, check out our list of nearby day hikes.
Some of the trails can be muddy and slippery this time of year, so make sure you check trail conditions before you head out. Remember to dress for the weather and pack out what you pack in. We want to keep you – and our trails – in good working order.
Biking
Biking is a great way to explore Everett on two wheels instead of four — especially since we are a certified bronze-level Bicycle Friendly Community. Strap on your helmet and follow one of our interactive bike tours to find a route that matches your interests and comfort level. Wherever you choose to ride, you’ll want to be safe and ready for your next Everett adventure, so check out the many bike resources at everettwa.gov/bikes.
Outdoor dining
Calories don't count on vacation. And what better way to relax and refuel after a day of adventure than with an awesome meal?
Grabbing some great food morning, noon and night is sure to delight. Start your day with a legendary cinnamon roll that's as big as your head. Grab sammies to go for your midday adventure or sit down for a plate full of seafood with of a view of the Puget Sound from one of favorite waterfront restaurants.
COFFEE
First things first: coffee. You gotta cool down and fuel up before you start exploring. And as you may already know, coffee is an attraction here in the PNW (we put specialty coffee on the map, after all).
Grab a cuppa from some of Everett’s excellent coffee shops. By the way, we don’t like to brag, but downtown’s Narrative Coffee won “world’s best new café” a couple years back.
CRAFT BEVERAGES
Is it just us or does an ice cold beer or hand-crafted cocktail taste THAT much better after a hike? You worked hard - it's time to unwind and Everett has a stellar craft beverage scene that'll hit the spot.
Head to the waterfront for organic cocktails with the freshest of fresh ingredients and seasonal flavors, or grab a seat in a tap room where you'll find unique craft brews of all varieties to satisfy your cravings.
HOTELS
Time to rest your tootsies after all that excitement. If you didn't see all you wanted to see yet, catch some Zzzs and relax in Everett comfort so you can set out again tomorrow.
You'll find fantastic views at the waterfront, or stay downtown to be within walking distance of great food, drinks and shopping. No matter where you rest your head, you'll wake up wide eyed and bushy tailed for more Everett adventure.
