Got your coffee? Perfect. Time to start exploring. If you're looking for a more low-key outdoor experience, Everett has plenty of walking trails that are beautiful during the fall season.

Langus Riverfront Park, with three miles of paved trail winding around the Snohomish River, is darn near perfect, especially on a foggy morning. You can also explore Everett's historic downtown and check out the fantastic results of street artists’ creative spirit on display.

Hiking is our proverbial pastime here in the PNW. After you've conquered our urban trails, check out our guide to hikes in our neck of the woods. If you’re up for exploring the beautiful forests of the PNW, check out our list of nearby day hikes

Some of the trails get slippery this season, so make sure you check trail conditions before you head out. Remember to dress for the weather and pack out what you pack in. We want to keep you--and our trails--in good working order.

First things first: coffee. You gotta warm up and fuel up before you start exploring. And as you may already know, coffee is an attraction here in the PNW (we put specialty coffee on the map, after all).

Grab a cuppa from some of Everett’s excellent coffee shops. By the way, we don’t like to brag, but downtown’s Narrative Coffee won “world’s best new café” a couple years back.

Calories don't count on vacation. And what better way to warm up and refuel after a day of adventure than with an awesome meal?

A little comfort food morning, noon and night are sure to delight. Start your day with a legendary cinnamon roll that's as big as your head. Grab sammies to go for your midday adventure or sit down to a big bowl of noodles at any of our unassuming (but life-changing) strip mall pho spots.

Is it just us or does an ice cold beer or hand-crafted cocktail taste THAT much better after a hike? You worked hard - it's time to unwind and Everett has a stellar craft beverage scene that'll hit the spot.

Head to the waterfront for organic cocktails with the freshest of fresh ingredients and seasonal flavors, or grab a seat in a tap room where you'll find unique craft brews of all varieties to satisfy your cravings.

Time to rest your tootsies after all that excitement. If you didn't see all you wanted to see yet, catch some Zzzs and relax in Everett comfort so you can set out again tomorrow.

You'll find fantastic views at the waterfront, or stay downtown to be within walking distance of great food, drinks and shopping. No matter where you rest your head, you'll wake up wide eyed and bushy tailed for more Everett adventure.

Seasonal Adventures

icon_farmsFall fun

One of the best parts about fall is strapping on a pair of rain boots and stomping through a muddy corn field to find the perfect pumpkin for your jack-o-lantern needs. While Everett doesn’t have any farms within city limits that can help with your quest, there’s a bunch of them just skipping distance away.

Here are some local farms where you can get your pumpkin, hayride, and hot apple cider to boot. Remember to call ahead or check their website before you head out.

icon_snow2 Snow day

There’s no day like a snow day. Whether you want to snowshoe your way through our majestic forests or cruise down slopes of fresh powder, the Cascade mountains can accommodate. Check out our list of perfect sledding and tubing spots to plan a fun day for the kids or the kid-at-heart. Even if you are a local, there’s bound to be a slice of mountain you have yet to explore.

Make sure to check before you go; reservations may be required this season.
